Formal Dresses in Exquisite Patterns
I used to be a big fan of solid evening gowns. After all, I believe that simple evening dresses are elegant and sophisticated, and solid is certainly simpler than patterned.
However, I have come to realize that sometimes, the right pattern can really brighten up a formal dress that would otherwise look subdued, almost “boring,” and make it really stand out.

Of course, it’s important to choose a simple and elegant print. The pattern on a formal dress should never be overwhelming, “cluttered” or “noisy.” You want to draw attention to the woman who wears the dress and to the beauty of the dress – never to the pattern itself.
